A Contest for Spinners
I had my camera out the other day.
(Precious Child floats in from the internets to state that I always have the camera out. Ahem. Go back to work, Presh).
Anyway, I grabbed some great images of Aslan and Tuie.
So I load the pics up on the pc to have a real good look. And find this:
I’m looking for a title. Poor Tuie! No one will ever believe that you have a brain in there. So. It’s a contest.
Below is kind of what he really looks like:
The Rules:
1. Create a title for the first image that’ll make me laugh as hard and as long as seeing this picture does. Seriously. It’s got to be FUNNY.
2. email your entry by 20 December to fiberfolliesATgmailDOTcom. Enter as often as you like.
3. Winning entry will be announced 27 December 2007.
What you get:
There is one prize! That’s it! However~
Winner gets choice:
This:
Eight ounce (227 g) of Merino/Tencel, lovely stuff but I can’t get the colour right, it’s a tad richer than shows on my monitor.
Or these:
two ounce each (57g) of tussah top, blue-green colourway dyed by Bob of Winderwood, and baby llama, in its natural grey heather. It looks more a light brown to me, but whatever, it’s soft.
The entries will be judged mainly by me, with grudging assistance from Precious Child and probably Bob. They don’t know that I volunteered their help yet so mum’s the word, right?
When you receive your winning notification, I’ll need your mailing address and preferred fibery prize. The unwanted prize goes back into my stash. For now, anyway.
I wanted to include knitters and crocheters but haven’t got any decent pictures of the good stuff I’d award. So, pending the success of this contest, I’ll work up another in January, with a yarny award instead. Okay?
