Kittens, Too
They’re not a full day old in this image. It’s the first time one of our ferals has birthed on our front step. I’d converted a litterpan to a nice little shelter which the cats didn’t use much. Now it’s Phoebe’s place, with her five kittens. So cute.
This is what happens when your local TNR programs are horrendously backlogged. Apparently people are listening to the TNR message, and the programs that do it affordably (about 25% the cost of the vet doing it) lack funds, locations, and veterinarians willing to do this huge service. I had four ferals last year. Now, including the kittens, I have fifteen or sixteen cats. And Phoebe’s mum Daphne comes due soon too. Help. I do love these babies though.
